Sheets of pre-colored wooden pieces. Illustrated instructions. Small parts waiting to become something much bigger than they look.
If you have never built a book nook before, the idea is simple: it is a miniature scene designed to sit among the books on your shelf. This one arrives as a project, with the scene still waiting to take shape.
Pieces are carefully removed from their sheets and assembled one by one. At first, you are making individual details: a little decoration here, part of a storefront there. The illustrated instructions give those separate pieces a place in the bigger picture.
Then the small assemblies begin connecting. A floor gives them somewhere to stand. A wall gives the scene its shape. And that is when the plaza starts appearing.
