The only material not included in the kit is glue for the window panes. Use a glue that dries clear, and a precision applicator would be helpful. I'm sure you could use regular school glue if you apply carefully. The photo here shows the final product without any post-production polishing. A small emery board is included for sanding down rough pieces, but I haven't used it yet. I'll probably also use some wood furniture touchup markers for any obvious raw spots. But even as it is now, I'm absolutely enamored with this little shop!!!
Completed this with my wife in a few hours at a casual pace. We both had a fun time putting it together and absolutely love the final product. Enjoyed it so much that we immediately purchased some more builds.
Instructions were really good, pieces were good (but not many spares), and the build itself was very well thought out. For instance, they give you "windows" specifically to keep dust out. Only complaint...wish they had included a little glue stick.

This is the second one I have gotten my daughter's girlfriend, and I am not disappointed at all! Design was just so awesome and cute! Everything fit perfectly and it's nice and sturdy. This one also has a light in it and it's perfect! I plan to keep getting these for her, quality is excellent, and definitely worth the money!
This was so much fun to do! It took me about 10 hours to complete and was a great for a day when we were snowed in.

At first I was a bit intimidated with all the pieces, but overall great experience. I really enjoyed putting this book book together and all pieces were good quality.
My boyfriend bought this for me as a gift. I was a little intimidated by the small pieces, but I loved putting this together. Simply follow the instructions and you’ll start to see it all come together. I enjoyed building this so much that I purposely took a long time to put it together because I didn’t want the fun to end. I would recommend detaching the pieces very carefully to make sure you don’t break anything but I also think they are very durable. After this was completed, I displayed it on a shelf and look at it constantly as I love it! I secretly hope he gets me another one so I have something else to put together :)
