This book nook kit was so fun to make! The pieces are thick enough, well organized, and sturdy enough for assembling together. I did wish it came with its own glue for connecting the pieces necessary but I had some clear glue on hand that worked fine when I left it to dry for a little bit while I moved on to the next steps. The instructions for this nook were very easy to follow and even installing the lights was fairly easy. It is a beautiful addition to a library or book shelf! I love that it even has doors to keep it closed and clean while on the shelf. The light switch was a little tricky to put in and I ended up putting mine in backwards but I am still able to easily turn on and off the lights. I do find that the exterior stickers do not stick as well as hoped but I've been able to push them back down and they hold for a bit. Definitely worth the cost and any book lover would love to build this and have it as an addition to their collection!

Quality workmanship at a very affordable price.

So I've completed 5 different book nooks and this one for some reason was a challenge the directions arnt the greatest and you have to work on experience. It's beautifully lit and I used a battery by pass so it plugs in and is turned off by the touch switch so it dosnt burn through batteries. It's really worth it when it's done. Also it dosnt come with glue be prepared

We got this to build with our 14yo. It took her about 3-4 hours and she loved every moment. She only snapped two pieces (avoidable with some patience and using the file) but it was an easy fix with super glue. The set doesn’t come with glue but requires it.

This kit was such a rewarding project from start to finish. The miniature library theme is absolutely charming and the level of detail in the finished piece is incredible. Each little book and furniture piece comes together to create this tiny world that looks stunning on a bookshelf. The instructions were clear enough to follow and the building process itself was genuinely relaxing and satisfying. It took a few evenings to complete which made it feel like a really immersive hobby rather than a quick craft. The finished display piece gets so much attention from everyone who sees it and looks like something you would find in a boutique home decor shop. This project we used for bonding time!

Die Qualität der Teile ist sehr gut verarbeitet, lassen sich sauber herauslösen und passen präzise zusammen. Der Aufbau macht Spaß und die Konstruktion ist stabil durch durchdachte Verbindungen.

Mit über 350 Teilen wirkt es anfangs auch für Einsteiger geeignet, wird aber in späteren Bauabschnitten anspruchsvoller. Besonders der Einbau der Treppen und der Glastüren erfordert Geduld und Fingerspitzengefühl.

Insgesamt ein hochwertiger Bausatz mit großem Spaßfaktor und einem sehr schönen Endergebnis. Für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert.

I've been wanting to do a book nook for a while now and this one seemed perfect in terms of topic (Library of Wisdom). The box came and I waited until the holidays to put it together. Unfortunately it was missing panel D (and I received two J's).

Perfect for novice book nook builders as the quality of the materials is great, and the instructions are easy to comprehend! I love this nook as it is very unique from all of the other ones I have completed. It also didn't take long at all! If you really wanted, you could get this done in one sitting (albeit, a generous one). The colors and picture clarity are really vibrant and clean - and I didn't have any problems with getting the pieces out of the boards or with placement. There were a couple of times where the pieces fit a little loosely, in which I recruited some super glue to help with the stability...but all things considered, I have no complaints! I am thrilled with this build as it is very cute when it is finished and looks amazing where ever you may decide to place it.
Definitely recommended!

having never done this, I can honestly say it is very easy to build with easy to follow instructions . It’s a great way to spend several hours building an awesome project with no tools needed. It quality is very good and item was exactly as described.

This was a great build, loved it and it looks fantastic when it is all put together. Instructions were very clear and precise. Only thing I would recommend is gluing the stairs in place, the go in fairly early in the build and are easily knocked out of place - glued it top and bottom after the third time. The details are beautiful and with the glass door on it finishes it off perfectly. Can't imagine anybody regretting buying this one.

This kit has an attractive design and is made with fairly thick pressed wood pieces. You simply punch the pieces out of wooden frames when the instructions call for it. Each piece is assigned a number that is referenced in the steps of assembly. Most pieces have rich coloring and images already printed on, but there are several book stickers that must be adhered. The instructions are easy to understand and have realistic, full color graphics to demonstrate how the pieces fit together. Included are tweezers and a small sanding board, but no glue. You will definitely need glue, especially for the stairs. Make sure each stair step is fully glued and dried before trying to attach the full staircases to the base. I agree with the age recommendation of 14 and over, but I wouldn't start with a kit this complex if I were a beginner.

If you want the full nitty gritty, keep reading, but if you want the TLDNR version, here it is: The pieces fit perfectly, the directions are colorful and SUPER easy to follow, it doesn't require a ton of patience (read: it's not frustrating), and it can be put together in a single day, easily. It's got a lot of detail and the quality is top notch for the price.

Now for the details. Starting with the stickers - they stick well, but aren't unforgiving and allow you to make adjustments as you go, which is really nice as I'm definitely not perfect with that stuff and did have to adjust quite a few of the book covers.
All the pieces are cut with amazing precision and they fit like a glove. I saw another review that said none of the pieces fit, but I didn't have a single issue. Some of the pieces are extra tight and some are slightly loose, but all within margins of error and pair up exactly.
This puzzle does require glue for some of the pieces, which they do not include. That's a bit of a bummer, but certainly not enough to take a star off. Hobby glue, I imagine, would be the best thing to use, but I used super glue and it worked fine. You do need to be careful when you glue things are you're just lining them up to outlines, so if you're off by a millimeter (which is actually a lot for this scale), it could cause issues with other pieces fitting.
Another thing to note is about the instructions. While they are HIGHLY detailed and colored and you can tell what piece is what by looking at it, there's a bit that was strange. If you look at my first pic of the instructions, you can see that when you combine A20 and J30, it becomes Q1, which is nice because now it can tell you what to do with Q1. But there are several other places where you combine 2 pieces and it DOESN'T give you a new piece name/number which makes it slightly confusing moving forward. Like in the second pic of the instruction book, you can see you combine H2 and G3 (among other) but they don't get a new combined part name. And then in pic 3 of the manual, you can see where those new combined pieces come together, but you have to rely on looking at them rather than piece name/number. Again, not something I'm taking a star off because of how detailed the pics in the instructions are.

Awesome Book Nook. The wife and I love Book Nooks and this one is no disappointment. Twin staircases and a multi-floor library. What could be better for a Book Nook? It's got excellent detail. Easy to follow instructions for anyone that likes to do these or 3-D puzzles. It's priced competitively in today's market. You may find some cheaper but there are also some that are more expensive as well. Remember, you get what you pay for. I think this is worth it. I would personally recommend it.

This is not something for a child to try to do alone, but a tween with adult supervision would probably find this to be fun!

They say it takes 5-8 hours, so we’ll see. I don't think it's something that you'll want to do all in one sitting. It contains 281 pieces and the instruction booklet is 20 pages! When you first open up the box, it smells strongly of wood and paint. There are lots of stickers, and a bag of accessories including a light and wiring. They even include dust covers! You will need to use silicone liquid glue for this project and supply your own 2 AAA batteries. The finished project will be 4” wide x 7” deep x 9” tall. It will look nice on a bookcase in between real books. The imaginary library is 3 stories tall, with lots of interesting little details. Peeking through the door, the artwork and everything really does make you feel like you’re stepping into an old Renaissance-Era library. It makes for a super cool and unique conversation piece!
