Great quality. Clear instructions. All pieces labeled clearly. It was my first time building a book nook - took me roughly 7 hours while listening to an audiobook in the background and several short breaks. Had to undo and re-twist the wiring a few times but eventually got the lights to work! It looks sooo good and I found it relaxing.* one note - instructions say it comes with complimentary glue but mine did not, had to buy my own.
I put this together as a gift for my mother in law who loves these things but doesn't care for fiddly crafty things. I, however, love fiddly crafty things. Putting it together was a joy, clear instructions, quality parts. It even held up to being packed in a suitcase and flown across country. If you like models or intricate projects, definitely give it a try.

It does take quite a while to put together but the directions are easy to follow and it uses different skills which keeps it interesting. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. It looks so nice nestled between my books. My son loves to come home and turn the light on for me. 💖

This was fun to make. It was like doing a 3D puzzle. I chose to paint some of the furniture and add/rearrange some things to my taste. The only probably was forcing the wood pieces together can break them but I don’t think there’s any way around that, so just be careful.
I got this for my birthday and was a little intimidated when I first opened it up. There are a ton of steps and little pieces. However the directions are so nicely done I was able to put it together in about 4 hours. It looks perfect on my shelf!
