Dream Coffee Factory

I was waiting for this as it goes out of stock often. That’s a clue that it’s very popular. Took me around 12 hours over three days to build, but I have made many of these types of puzzles and I have learned to be meticulous with sanding, waxing and checking every step twice. As a result they always assemble perfectly and work flawlessly. which is excellent. Directions, quality of all the parts, many extra parts throughout if you lose or damage a piece (The + sign next to the part number lets you know there are extra parts) are all the best quality I have seen I many brands I have purchased. Don’t rush, take your time and you will enjoy it more and you will not run into any problems. On this model they have you test the movements at four different stages so you can go back easily to correct something. Again, sand, wax and double check everything and all the tests will go well. Once I had this completed I turned it on (you have the option of music on the first press and silent on the second. Hold to turn it off). The puzzle as they call them is great. So many motion aspects all over this model. Lights are perfect and the final products looks professional. Is this a starter kit, no way, is this for a child, don’t think about it (unless they are a prodigy, it states hard and for adults. It takes patience, time and paying attention to many small details. In the end you will be happy you bought this. It’s a great addition to a bookshelf. You can’t beat the price, quality or delivery. Get it while you can.

These are our absolute favorite diy miniature brand . My daughter loves mini things and we started buying the easier plastic “super creator” models in this brand when she was about 10 for her to put together. I think we own about 20 or more of those at this point.
This style is an “advanced” difficulty and for this particular one I agree. It’s incredibly detailed. I think it’s not only timeframe to complete but also has some technical difficulty. This one has lights and lots of moving parts and does take a greater attention to detail than the others. I feel it’s a significant jump up from even the one like the typewriter. BUT not like those ones where you literally have to sew and make pillows from scratch or flat out bend metal to create handles for cabinets. None of that at least!
Made of mostly push out wood and some paper items that are meant to be assembled. Most of the wood pieces have easy assembly like just inserting tabs into slots sort of thing.
These have detailed and clear instructions that are easy enough to understand especially if you are familiar with kits of this nature but again, this one is going to take careful attention. The thing I recommend is getting some good model glue. I like beacon 3-1 personally for every model set I do. Can you do it with the supplied double sided tape/glue dots? Sure. I just don’t think it holds up as long or looks as polished as gluing it.
Overall, I love all of these models and this brand has never let me down in terms of quality and enjoyment. I’m a fan for life.

I got this Coffee Factory puzzle because I enjoy putting together puzzles and building things. I liked the coffee factory design, and I thought it would make a nice display piece once it was finished.

This kit does take patience, so I would not call it a quick project. There are a lot of pieces, and you do need to take your time with the instructions. Once the pieces start coming together, it is really satisfying to see the coffee factory scene take shape.

The details are what make this kit stand out. I like that it has moving mechanical parts, warm LED lights, and a music box. The puzzle feels more interactive than a regular plain wooden puzzle.

This would look nice on a desk, shelf, bookcase, or with other miniature kits. Overall, I am happy with this kit. It takes time to build, but it is fun, detailed, and looks great when finished.

This build kit is rt , so for me it comes with a certain level of expectation. I've completed a number of miniature kits from various brands, and it consistently makes quality projects that don’t disappoint.

This kit includes an impressive amount of detail, along with moving parts and lighting effects. It also comes with a motor that powers the movement and a speaker that adds musical sounds. Having built another t kit with a motor and speaker, I highly recommend testing the moving mechanisms as you go to make sure everything fits and operates smoothly. Also, don't skip using the included lubricating wax on the gears—it makes a noticeable difference. This kit also includes a belt that drives some of the moving parts, so take time during assembly.

There are many different elements incorporated into this build, including both 2D and 3D components that create a real sense of depth. The finished model is visually interesting from every angle, with unique details to appreciate from both sides and even from above.

While this isn't Rbme's most expensive kit, it is on the higher end of the price range. However, the combination of intricate details, lighting, sound, and motion makes it well worth the cost. This kit promises enjoyment not only building it; but also displaying it afterwards.

Dream Coffee Factory. It measures 9.3 x 6.5 x 9.8 inches finished. It has 593 pieces and is a challenging kit. Lots of moving parts to configure. This is not a first kit, so it helps if you've made a few. This is pretty neat when finished with all the moving parts and sound. It says ten hours, but took longer. This is one where you need to just sit and take your time. It's not one that you will be able to get done in a couple hours. It takes some patience and really checking that everything is working for each part before you move on so you don't end up having to go back and undo and fix. This is one of the more expensive models from this brand at over at this time. It is a good quality kit though. Very creative. This kit contains wood parts, 3D plastic pieces, clear window plastic pieces, snap apart plastic pieced (a finger nail clipper is handy for this), motor, power board, paper instruction book, lights, speaker, and screws. There are a few mods you could do to this too to add more 3D elements.

I love how this came out. I loved putting this together. There are a lot of moving parts so you have to pay close attention to the instructions. It comes with a tool to make sure you put the tiny rods into the gears just right. I did not use niches glue. I accidentally broke a few pieces but was able to glue them and make it work. Few places were very hard to read. For the most part on tnd lighter parts of the boards you can see them, but I had trouble seeing it on the black boards. This is type c power. It does not come with a cord. The lighting was very easy to put on. Pay attention to the length. The longest cord goes into the smallest floorboard because of the distance of that to the plug. This can be picked up and moved around and it's holding up very wells this is a fun kit. I did not even know if I would like it because of the gears but I really do. We are huge coffee buffs so this will look great on

Paint Mather and made the lines on the window. It is actually easy because they break the steps into little instructions . Highly recommend this!.

This was such a fun little project, I completed it in about 15 hours. I’m so obsessive I did those 15 hours in one day. There wasn’t any glueing so it was mostly waxing and snapping pieces into place. For context, I’ve done around 50 miniature projects. Some booknook’s, some house kits and a lot of my own creations - so I’m very quick when assembling premade kits.

This kit does have some challenging parts. My advice would be to organize all the “P” parts before starting. They all come together in one bag and not all are labeled so you have to sort through to find the right piece. When the instructions call for a piece they do have a life size template so you can double check you have the right piece. Having them pre-labeled will help save time finding the right piece.

Get very familiar with the icons, it will help you get through assembly much quicker. Pay VERY close attention to the illustrations. There aren’t many written instructions so looking at the illustrations will ensure you don’t miss any steps. You don’t want to have to take apart something you just finished.

Definitely do your tests when it calls for it. You don’t want to be all the way done and discover something isn’t working.

A couple tools I’d recommend are some mini pliers and some tweezers - also a flat wood piece to help push tabs into place. I used my thin edge mini pliers to help push some of the pieces out of the wood boards. The thicker wood makes it much harder to use just your fingers.

Don’t use brute force to push pieces into place, you could skew something somewhere else or break a piece if you push too hard. If gently wiggling it into place isn’t working - file the edges down a tiny bit to get the piece to click in easier.

As you build it from the bottom up it starts to show itself and how adorable it is. It’s very soundly made, the pieces lock together so good you’ll have no fear of it coming apart. The lighting is such a beautiful addition - but the instructions for them are a bit vague. Use the tiny holes to thread the lighting for the first and second pieces, then the third just wraps around where it goes. Don’t over think it. Also know, there are a lot of extra pieces provided in case you break something, so don’t be surprised if you have a lot of extra at the end.

If you have any trouble, you can always go to the website and get help. If you pay close attention you won’t have to. Once you’re done, every little trouble piece will be forgotten and you’ll be happy you stuck it out.

Ok, this is by far, hands down my *favorite* book nook/wooden puzzle I've ever done. And I've done quite a few of both. Im not really a fan of having people in my builds that I do, so I just skipped all the people and I absolutly *love* it. I've done many rkr (rk/rotie. Itz the same ppl), and yet again they have delivered. The last really long more challenging (but not so hard that i abandon it.. I've had those Lil suckers too) build that I did was also rk. The space station. Also amazing, by the way... I just love how many different components it has to it. This one too. And the best part is that it all actually works in the end! Man... I hate it when I work so hard and long on a build and i go to turn it on in the end and I realize a gear is just ever so slightly out of whack and I have to go back like 1000 steps just to reach it. Also why I am in love with rr. They break everything down for u in their novel of an instruction booklet. So much so that sometomes im like 'woah, rk. I know thaf. Damn.' But its just bc they really want you to succeed and actually know how to get you there. If u haven't done any ok builds, u are like seriously depriving yourself here. I maybe should clarify that im talking to all my experienced builders out there. Its not like I dont think u can do it, newbies... it would just be very overwhelming i think. So maybe start with something else, u know?

SO- if u haven't done any ok, I can pretty.much guarantee you that u will find yourself smiling at something that ok thought about that no1 else has. They are that good. I highly reccomend you get this. Ill be honest with u.... at first, I just got it for the challenge. But I absolutly LOVE how it looks and I even impressed my dude when I turned it on for him to see...and he is one of those ppl that just dont understand the whole wooden puzzle phenomenon. He's always like "put it down, give ur brain a rest" and i wish he would just understand that this IS me giving it a rest... oh well. Atleast he liked it enough to keep it in the room. Score...

I have done several book nooks so far and am 2/3 of the way through building the Dream Coffee Factory and I absolutely love it! It's my favorite one so far. It's complicated but the directions are very well written and very clear while also not being language dependant (mostly pictures and the written assist is in several different languages) and the pieces are well cut so I don't run into problems punching them out. The shipping time was very good as well and I had all the parts of my order in about a week.

How freaking cute is this miniature puzzle kit! I have actually seen this exact one at our local mall, but I had no idea these book nook style kits could include moving parts and music.

I am really excited to build this one during the winter. It lights up, has moving elements, and even plays music, which makes it feel like more than just a static display piece.

I have built quite a few traditional miniature houses but the Dream Coffee Factory was a completely different experience for me. It is a totally different approach, instead of cutting tiny paper flowers, wrapping fabric cushions or miniature books or even dealing with messy glue this is more engineering approach. You built a working miniature machine. No need of using glue everything snaps together with high precision. I was a little bit nervous building it but the everything worked perfectly. It was much more than one day project but watching the final product actually move makes it one of the most rewarding kits I've ever put together. Highly recommend if you want to try something a bit more mechanical!

I build a lot of book nook and miniatures kits, and I bought this company's excellent Christmas Dream Factory model and built it last year. I'm very happy with that model, and this one is similar.

This coffee house model adds even more complexity than the Christmas Dream Factory model has, and that model was a very demanding and time consuming build. Satisfying in the end, because of the multiple animations, lights and music, but not an easy build. It took me five separate build sessions, each at least an hour long.

The quality of all the materials is excellent, painted panels are clearly, brightly printed and well scored for easy removal of pieces. Pieces prone to breakage often include a spare in the panel. A multi port electronics module is included; the finished model has a motor, plus a music speaker and three LED light strands. All panels and pieces are clearly labeled. Wax sticks, a tweezer, screwdriver, spacing gaskets, emery boards, glue, and double sided tape are all included.

Instructions are clear, fully illustrated, and forgiving: they call out pieces that are easy to position wrong, and prompt the builder to test the electronics and animations at multiple points through the build, giving ample opportunities to make adjustments and discover mistakes in the build. Metal pieces that are included in multiple sizes, like rods, are pictured actual size in the instructions, making it easy to verify the part.

I like the cat theme and old timey music, and the design of the mechanics is inventive. Assembly is mostly slot and tab, a tool is included to help with spacing washer depth and such.

The model gets progressively more challenging as the build continues, and the moving parts get harder to reach and adjust as the build continues, so it's important to follow the instructions very closely and double-check the orientation of every part. If just one piece is slightly out of alignment, it throws the whole drive train off and locks it up. Fortunately a power cycle resets the power module, but past a certain point you really have to tear down the model to reach the gears in the power train if any adjustments are needed, and that's frustrating.

It's a gorgeous model when done, very interesting and funny with the cat paw delivery trays and old timey music. Just plan on a lengthy and sometimes difficult build.
