My daughter and I have done 2 of these and they are so fun! Great for a night in. Very intricate so you need a steady hand. Be prepared to get some glue on your fingers, as the pieces are TINY, and cover whatever surface you are using with something (paper, old towel, etc) cause it can get messy. The final product is worth it. So FUN!

This book nook brings a sleek touch to any bookshelf, enhanced by its vibrant, lighting that adds a unique sense of depth. The materials are solid, with acrylic elements that make this kit feel high-end and distinctive. However, it’s definitely a challenge— it's rated the difficulty it has for good reason! The instructions are fairly clear, with images that do a decent job of guiding you, but the process can feel meticulous, if not tedious. It’s not for beginners, but it’s definitely manageable if you have some experience with intricate assembly and gluing small parts.

Speaking of, if you have your own tools and glue, I'd suggest using them. The included glue isn't great, and takes forever to get tacky/set/dry. The other tools are serviceable, but basically dollar-store grade. The kit itself is a lot of laser-cut boards, mostly assembled by attaching pieces to one another "tab a to slot b" style. Intermittently, you'll be running wires and stringing the LEDs, affixing and sealing them behind a piece, or underneath something so they're out of sight when the finished product is lit. This one has an "infinity mirror" gimmick that's really cool!

Overall, working on this kit was really enjoyable, and I was impressed by how easily each piece came out of the boards without any struggle. The completed book nook is truly eye-catching and adds a dynamic touch to any room or shelf. Highly recommend this kit for those looking to add a stylish, modern element to their space—this one definitely stands out!

My wife’s loved it, however take your time building it

This is a really neat kit. The pieces go together nicely and the details look great! This will be a super cute addition to my bookshelf. I like having different textures (stickers, cardboard, plastic flowers and trees). The pieces are labeled very well and they're not flimsy. This took me about 6 hours to finish. It's better than I expected.

They have incorporated cleaner connecting points and put them in less conspicuous areas on the wooden sheets. This means less sanding and staining to hide the white marks left on the part after removing it from the sheet.
This kit included 249 pieces on eleven sheets of plywood, pressed board, cardboard. It also included a bag of plastic decorations, stickers, lights, touch switch, 2-sided tape, sticky dots, screwdriver and electrical tape. The directions say to twist and tape the wires, but I soldered them together for a more secure connection. I truly enjoyed building this kit.

Very easy to put together with simple to follow instructions. Cutters or a hobby knife are needed for a few steps and are not included. The lighting feature really ties the entire book nook together. Excellent for hobby enthusiasts or book collectors.

This isn't my first book nook miniature. This one has good instructions but like all the others it's a little hard to do the electrical and hide the wires and leave the right gaps so it's best to look ahead in that direction section so you know. I'm extra and when I pop the pieces out I like to paint the edges and add embellishments but it's not needed with this unless you're extra too. I did find that I needed my X-acto knife to get a few more delicate pieces out of the frame, but overall it's a nice kit.

These book nooks are very intricate but lovely when finished. It’s hard to believe how beautiful they are until you see them finished and turn on the light.

This was a gift for my daughter and she loves it. Arrived in record time and perfect condition. Cannot wait to see it all put together.

Fun, fairly straightforward, and good quality.

I built it with my 6 years old son. It's took us 4 days, 2 hours each. The instructions are very clear with all the details. Even my son follows and understood instructions very easily. The end product is very pretty especially when the light turns on. The only part I find difficult is removing the S, L, and M stickes, since they very tiny. I then used a tweezer to remove them and place it on the material. My son enjoyed building it and loved the final product. Highly recommend it to every one and especially to parents with kids.

These are great little models to put together, would make a great gift for craft loving kids or adults. Its size makes it look great on a shelf or bookshelf; it has a surprising amount of detail for such a small model!

I’m obsessed with this book nook style of building, I’ve done several. This is a favorite for sure. The design and layout is so fun even down to the electrical wires hanging through the village. It was fun and easy to build and looks so cool when finished. This is an awesome addition to my book shelf.

You will not be disappointed. Very relaxing and as others have said, just take your time!

This one is super pretty and I really enjoyed working on it. It comes with all the parts needed except batteries. It's a great way to spend time and I always feel like I've accomplished something when I finish one of these miniature builds. It does take some sanding on the few burrs from popping the pieces out, and I've had to glue a few pieces in to make them more solid.

I love that this kit does not require glue. The only at home material you need is a pair of scissors. It feels like adult legos but harder and if done right, will take much longer. Be careful popping the wooden pieces out as some are super fragile and will break. Take your time, go slowly and what you get in the end looks so good.Overall I loved this kit.

Very pretty book nook, and my first with the mirror in the back. Took less time than some of the others I have done. Good quality pieces and felt sturdy.

I love little projects like this, sort of a puzzle mixed with art that can be displayed later and this does not disappoint. I worked on this over the period of 2 days and found that it was very fulfilling when it was completed, I felt accomplished. I think that this makes a perfect gift for someone who loves projects like this, great to work on with children.
