This miniature kit is nicely designed and it has a good relaxed vibe. The theme is a bookshop but in a switch from the usual, it isn't gothic or Victorian. It has more of a Mediterranean feel, which nice change. Everything went together very well. All the parts fit tight enough to minimize the amount of glue (or double-sided tape) needed, but not so tight that you need to sand anything. It has a moderate build time, everything goes together very well, but there is a lot of detail.

One nice detail, the books in the bookshop are all different (some kits repeat a cover over and over) and many are books you have either read or heard of. There is a nice variation in the sizes of the books as well. The wiring and LED lighting are basic. You turn on the light using a switch on the bottom and there are two lights. The electrical connection is supposed to be made by twisting the wires together and applying tape. I always solder the connection and use heat shrink. One other thing to think about, this kit is very open. Over time it will collect dust which will be very hard to clean.

Really cute. There were no missing pieces and the glue quality was great. I loved this so much. It was the very first one of these things I’ve done and it was very simple but takes time. Great for passing time if you’re bored

Everything is organized and ready to go. Directions aren’t the best but are clear. This is my fourth kit so that makes them easier to follow. I love the variety of tasks involved in these. The cutting, fold, glueing, painting (in other kits) keeps it interesting. A fun craft.I do wish the boxes listed needed items clearly. As mentioned this is my fourth kit but my first one left me gathering more supplies that I didn’t have though most crafters/people already own.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. Great for those that like building stuff!

This is by far the best kit I have bought. The instructions were very clear. The pieces are very detailed and well made. Everything fit together perfectly. I love it.

I've completed a book nook, a coffee shop, a dream garden house, and this corner bookstore! Beside all the books to be covered, this was my favorite!

Got this for my daughter in law, she loves books and crafts, she put it together in one day! She said she loves it!!

I'm not a beginner miniature builder, but I am not patient enough for the more detailed ones! This particular model is great because the paper cuts can be punched out of the paper (versus cutting out on your own - very tedious!) and the paper cuts have creases where you are to fold (much easier than having to make your own creases on paper so small!). Also, you won't be cutting 1mm of wire and then shaping it to turn into a tap for a faucet or mug handle. Fun and easy for when you just want to build something but don't want to rage quit and end up smashing your work.

This bookstore was fun to make. Took awhile and patience is needed. Extra books to make if you mess up.Follow directions important. When finished I put some items where I wanted them. Costly due to this being my second one from this company. I will save for another one. Also I put clear plastic wrap on them so dusting isn’t necessary.

This one used double sided tape instead of glue. All the pieces were pretty much cut out already and the books were all sticker attachments. I think it took me a total of 4 hours to complete. It was definitely one of the easier ones I’ve done in terms of putting together, but all the pieces that need to be put together makes the process tedious. Some of the large pieces that make up the background to some wiggling and patience to connect. The tiny pieces of flimsy wood also made the little tables tricky.The end result turned out great though.

Love this little model, had a load of fun putting it all together. This is a model you don't have to paint and you don't need to glue together-just slot everything together and use little sticky tabs to adhere paper crafts and you're good to go! Highly recommend!

I really liked this brand. The sets are always good quality. This bookshop all fits together well, but it does take a lot of work to assemble it. You also have to be careful when you are pushing out the pieces and assembling everything. This shop is a little different than others I've done, because it's more the outside of the shop than the inside. I love the colors and the overall look of the set. It reminds me of a little shop in Italy. There are so many cute little details like the plants, the book covers, the phone, the cash register. I feel like a beginner could tackle this set. Like I wrote, it is a lot of work but things fit together well and it's not too fragile. This one doesn't come with a dust cover and you would basically need to put it under a plastic box to keep the dust off.

This is THE cutest little set! My sister and I are putting it together during quiet times with the kids. We are about halfway done. This is much better with two people. One to get the pieces, and one to read the directions. I don't even know how someone created this set. It is SO adorable, and everything fits perfectly together. Some of the pieces were a little hard to get into place, but you just need to carefully twist and manipulate until it gets into the right spot. It comes with almost everything you need, except for the scissors. It comes with the tweezers, but really they are a bit big. It works much better if you have mini makeup tweezers. And yes, you NEED them. Otherwise, some parts (and the tape) would be impossible to place place properly. I love this kit so much! I am already looking for more!

I wish I had taken more pictures of the process, but this kit was a lot of fun to put together. Everything was bagged or packaged into groups and the instructions told you exactly which bag/package/sheet you were looking for for each section. There were very few places I had to wing it, the instructions were pretty clear through the process.

Everything is put together by you - all 81 books, the plants, the bookcases, etc. It took me the better part of the afternoon (I didn't time it and I took breaks but maybe 4-5 hours) and came out just like the picture shows. There are even detailed instructions on which size books to put where, but you can decorate the shelves and everything as you want. The only thing I needed additionally was a smaller set of tweezers and there were a few places I added some super glue. I only had one piece break when I was installing it, and I was able to glue it back together and you can't tell.

Care is needed when popping the pieces out of their frames, but I didn't have any pieces break during that process. I really enjoyed making it and now I want another one. (Ignore the chaos in my last photo, it wasn't all set up yet!)

This is supposed to take 6 hours to complete.
But it took me 12+ hours.
Being a beginner of working on miniature models, I was amazed how meticulously all the parts had been planned for the assembly work.

Most, if not all, of the parts fit together tightly as expected.
As needed, I used the included sand paper or my cutter knife to remove the burr, adjust the fit, etc.
The instructions were easy to see. They guided me through all steps.

I was a little taken aback, though, when I realized I had to "make" all the mini books (in addition to the furniture, props, etc.) by wrapping tiny mostly wooden pieces with mini book cover stickers. You can see the 80+ mini books plus book cases (made of paper) in one of my pictures.

It is important that you separate different sizes/kinds of mini books and keep record of them.
This is because the instructions are very specific about how many of different kinds of books go where.

At the end of the day, all the toiling was worth it, though.
