      I’m very happy with this book nook and I can’t wait to build another!

      I built this with my 12 year-old son, and it took us around 3 hours total. It was the perfect activity for a rainy evening!

      The directions are clear and easy to understand. All of the pieces were well labeled and they fit together pretty easily. I like that this set didn’t utilize any glue, as we could easily adjust pieces as needed while building. The wooden pieces popped out without too much trouble, and the included sandpaper was a nice touch to smooth the connection points.

      The lighting works great, and adds such a cute touch. It does require 2 AAA batteries (not included). This would be a great gift for a crafty friend or just to have for yourself for a quiet afternoon. I love that it’s a buildable model that I can easily display on my bookshelf. I look forward to purchasing additional models in the future!

      I have so mush fun putting theses together and have done several. This particular one was simple, the pieces were strong and the directions were very easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this for someone that is trying it for the first time.

      I really like these kits. This one is pretty good! It's solidly in the middle for difficulty, but at least it does well with glue/tape.

      I took notes as I built and am sharing those notes here.
      The box claims no glue is needed, which it isn’t crucial to have but sometimes the adhesive dots didn’t work at all and I improvised with some glue. Before completing step 12, install your 2 AAA batteries (not included). There are many steps that ask for strips of tape. I found these extremely difficult to use so I used glue instead. This was a fun build! Cute completed project. A+

      This is a fun build!
      Love that you can see everything coming together as you go.
      Enjoy the various types of materials. In this kit, you have plastic, paper, stickers and lights.
      I've built TONS of similiar wooden models and this set has something I've never seen before. There are little marks where the parts of connected. Makes is super easy to remove and less likely to break.

      I'm not a fan of the double back tape, just personal preference, I like to use glue.
      I found it easier to use and much faster to apply with a small amount on your finger where needed. Also makes it easier to reposition the parts as you built. But this is just my preference.

      This was a fun and easy built. I'd say it would be great for a beginner.
      Plus, it brings back memories of a once in a lifetime vacation!
